Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (from a recognized institution)
- Proficient in typing and pharmacy computer operations
- At least three (3) years post qualification experience in a retail pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be professional
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work on shifts and public holidays
Responsibilities
- Ability to prepare & dispense prescriptions efficiently, accurately whilst maintaining your professional composure in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience in managing inventory & handling OTC enquiries
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers under the guidance of the Pharmacist
- Maintain par stocks of pharmaceutical items using FIFO
- Accurately access & verify information in computer data base
- Establish and maintain patient profiles
- Sound knowledge of common pharmacy practices, concepts and procedures which includes local insurance procedures, policies and government guidelines.
